2025 has been a milestone year for By Life Connected. From our base in Zambia, we have successfully moved beyond testing ideas to establishing a proven proof-of-concept for community-led conservation. Our approach is built on three high-impact pillars: local and landscape governance, data-driven decision-making, and sustainable implementation.

 

This model is now attracting serious interest from major international organizations for potential long-term partnerships.

 

The Strategic Gap

As we navigate the transition to large-scale institutional agreements, we have encountered a strategic timing gap. A significant funding pledge for our 2026 operations unexpectedly fell through at the last minute. Because our team’s energy this year was split between scaling these complex governance projects and welcoming the newest members of our family (our twins!), our fundraising window was narrow.

 

To keep our momentum and protect the progress we’ve made, we are raising €15,000 to bridge the gap into 2026.
